Create a data table with AI

A messy order form, roster, or photographed list becomes a data table without hand-cleaning.

Where it sits

On the design, the Data Table tab offers Create Manually and, below it, Use AI, which opens the AI Parse Data Table dialog. It appears only while the design holds no data table, and needs editor or manager permission on designs.

Accepted input

File Upload takes Excel, CSV, PDF, Images (max 10MB each), plus plain text, dropped on the panel or chosen with Select Files.

Several files parse together as one source, up to 50; Add more files extends the list. Text Input replaces the upload with pasted data.

Guiding the wizard

  • Table Name (optional) names the table.

  • Design Prompt Text (optional) describes the layout of the finished plate as Line 1, Line 2, etc..

  • Additional lines of text can be added. Note: lines can describe variable text, constant text, or both .

  • Additional notes can be added to specify how the AI should interpret or parse the data.

The result

The table is created directly from what is extracted, with no preview step. Review happens afterwards in the grid, through the pencil beside Edit. Uploaded files are archived to the design's Documents tab, labelled AI Import followed by the filename.
