The Multi-Design Wizard produces several different plate layouts from a single data source. It suits jobs where one guest list or order drives trophies, plaques, and badges at the same time.
Steps
On the Home screen, under Quick Actions, select Multi-Design Wizard
Upload the spreadsheet
Review the parsed data. Etch Express reads the file and presents the columns and rows it found. Confirm the interpretation before continuing
Define the designs. Add each design the job needs, giving each its own plate dimensions, material, and layout
Assign the data. Map columns to the variables in each design, so every design knows which values it draws
Review and launch. Check the configuration, then start the run
Processing. Designs are generated in the background, and progress is shown as each completes
Complete. Finished designs can be opened directly from the final screen
If a design fails
Individual designs can be retried from the processing and completion screens without restarting the whole run.
Notes
Templates can be applied to designs in this flow, so an established layout does not need rebuilding.
