This tab shows your store's basic information. Click Edit to update any of these details:

  • Store Name — How your location appears throughout EtchExpress

  • Description — Optional notes about this location

  • Phone — Contact number

  • Address — Full street address, city, state, postal code, and country

  • Subscription Status — Shows whether you're on Active, Free Trial, or Inactive status

Tip: You can also quickly rename your store by clicking the pencil icon next to the store name at the top of the page.

Font Settings

Control which fonts are available when designing plates. You have access to over 1,900 Google Fonts plus the ability to upload your own custom fonts.

  1. Scroll through the font list or use the dropdown to filter

  2. Click a font name to see a preview on the right

  3. Check the box next to any font to enable it

  4. Click Save to apply your changes

Only enabled fonts will appear in the font selector when editing plates.

  2. Drag and drop your font file or click to browse

  3. Give it a name (this is what you'll see in the font selector)

    1. Use the pencil icon to rename fonts after they've been uploaded

  4. Click Upload Font

Supported formats: .otf, .ttf, .woff, .woff2 (max 5MB per file)

Limit: You can upload up to 10 fonts at a time & 150 custom fonts per store.

Plate Settings

Set the default configuration for new plates. These values will be pre-filled when you create designs, saving you time.

Plate Dimensions

Set your most common plate size as the default Width and Height. Use the toggle in the top right to switch between inches (in) and millimeters (mm).

Border Settings

Configure the default plate border:

  • Border Width Preset — Choose from Hairline (0.003"), 2x Hairline (0.006"), 3x Hairline (0.009"), or Custom

  • Border Color — Pick your default border color

Grid Settings

The grid helps with alignment in the Plate Editor. Configure whether it's enabled by default and set the grid size and line width.

Bed Settings

Set defaults that match your engraving equipment. These values will be pre-filled in the Bed Editor for new designs.

  • Bed Dimensions — Width and height of your physical engraving bed

  • Plate Spacing — Default gaps between plates (horizontal and vertical)

  • Bed Margins — Default empty space around the edges of your bed

Tips for Store Settings

  • Match your equipment: Set bed dimensions to your actual engraver size for accurate layouts

  • Limit fonts for speed: Only enable the fonts you actually use — fewer fonts means faster loading

  • Use common plate sizes: Set your most frequent plate size as the default to save time

  • Remember to save: Click Save after making changes on each tab

Your Store ID

Each store has a unique ID. You can copy it by clicking Copy ID below your store name. This is helpful when contacting support or for API integrations.
