The Designs page lists the designs in the selected store, with their status and reference ID. Archived designs are hidden until Show archived is turned on.

Long lists are paged. Searching by design name, internal reference ID, or notes is faster than paging where the shop produces many jobs.

Setting a reference ID when a design is created is what makes it findable later by work order.

Each design carries a status from the store's pipeline. Statuses are configured in Store Settings, so they can be renamed and reordered to match how the shop actually works.

Selecting a design opens its overview, which holds the data table, attached documents, and a link into the Plate Editor. The Bed Editor is reached from the Plate Editor, using Move to Bed.

A design can be cloned, producing a copy with its own name, reference ID, and status. The plate design, bed layout, data tables, and documents all carry over.

Cloning suits a repeat order for a different guest list. Where a layout will be reused often, saving it as a template is the better route. See Templates.

Deleting requires manager permission on Designs and is permanent.

Archiving rather than deleting preserves the exact settings for a future reorder, which is worth doing for anything likely to repeat.
